Just a note to let those who access this blog that I haven’t forgotten to keep up with the casualty reports.
I have been in the process of buying a house and moving which takes more time and energy than I anticipated. I have the names ready to add to the 2010 Honor Roll and will do so as soon as I have time.
Since my last post on September 18 the armed forces have sustained 46 losses in Afghanistan and Iraq. Three (3) in Iraq and the remaining forty-three (43) in Afghanistan. The US Army sustained twenty-four (24); the US Marine Corps nineteen (19) ; the US Navy one (1) and the US Air Force two (2).
One of the losses was from New York State- L Cpl. Scott Lynch, 22, Greenwood Lake was killed on October 6, 2010.
May they all rest in peace. There sacrifices will not be forgotten. Thank you for your service. May the families of the fallen find the strength for the days ahead. Bless All.
